STAROS Affected by Suicide Support Trust provides information and support for those bereaved by suicide within Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. Losing a loved one to suicide changes your life forever and supporting each other helps us to manage the impact suicide has on our lives.

We hold weekly support groups between Napier, Hastings and Havelock North.  Please contact us if you're interested in coming along or would like more information, we can also meet you outside the group if this is more comfortable for you.

STAROS has a basic philosophy of caring for and supporting others and is always willing to be involved with any events that will benefit and potentially improve the wellbeing of the people in our communities which in turn helps to build healthy communities. As a trust we can provide opportunities filled with positive information and coping tools for our communities to make good choices. We believe that community supporting community can make a difference to the future wellbeing of our community and we work hard to build connections with other community groups and organisations that align with this philosophy.
